Post Surgery Pictures

Hi,

I posted my Post-Surgery pictures under "my profile" in "profile images" instead of in this area. I guess it was probably because I was pretty much "doped-up" and just kinda wasn't thinking "straight". Harhar.
These newer pictures below are a few more days after surgery.

I have new pictures coming up soon. Oh yes, I got pictures of my Orthodontist (Dr. Ellenikiotis, aka Dr. E) and his assistants, Huyen and Kimmy, as well as my Dentist (Dr. Alex Nguyen aka Alex :)). I will have pictures of my "hawt" Surgeon, Dr. Felice O'Ryan within the next two weeks and will post them here as well :)

This is the BEFORE X-ray...you can tell the ill-alligned top from the bottom jaws. You can also see the profile of my face where the top lip is pushed in compared to the jutted bottom/chin.

This is AFTER surgery. My doc expertly alligned my top and bottom jaws. You can also see my profile has changed. The upper lip is swollen..but you can tell my mouth has a better fit here.
This is me on May 14th...right before I am headed to my Doctor to get "unveiled" :)


Um...here's a non-attractive picture of my wired teeth. It's actually a bunch of rubber bands holding my teeth together. There were times when i was worried that I would break them because i accidentally tried to open my mouth to talk.

Awww...here's me AFTER I was unwired. I thought French Fries were gonna be the victims of my first meals..but alas, I had to eat soft stuff...so I had a bowl of Vietnames soup: PHO. Good thing too because I found out it was hard to open my mouth or to chew. I ate most of my food whole..mostly noodles. Gosh it was GOOD to NOT feel hungry after a meal!!!

Here's me after the unveiling..sideview. Still got a fat upper lip, but it felt sooooooo much better with my teeth unwired and I was able to relax my lower jaw. I was getting a headache from my jaw being wired tight. It was necessary though to have them tight so the healing could complete :)

Oooh...here's my front view. I still look goofy with a fat upper lip. My sweet sweet doctor told me I looked 12. Richard pointed out that she looked 14 herself. LOL. She's a sweetheart! Anyways, this picture was taken on May 14th...after the wires/rubberbands were removed. What a relief!
